SUMMER ACTIVITIES AT BALLYBAY LIBRARY

This summer we have created an exciting fun and interactive programme of activities for children in Ballybay Library. From turning used books into beautiful flowers, to learning about circuits and scribble bots, or relax whilst listening to Riverside farm storytelling, there is something for all children to enjoy. As always, the summer programme of events is FREE of charge, but booking is required as places are very limited. Contact Ballybay Library during opening hours at 0429741256 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . The first winner of the Summer Star reading challenge was Max Moffett form Ballybay Central School. Congratulations to Max.

Tales from the Riverside Farm Monday 16th July 11am-12pm Should you ever be in fear, call three times & I will hear’! Have you ever heard of a hedge sprite? No! Well then let me tell you all about them. Hedge sprites are nothing like those bossy fairies, who spend their days collecting old teeth and making a nuisance of themselves. Hedge Sprites spend their days mixing magical potions that make all the flowers smell wonderful. Come along to this fun and engaging storytelling session on farm safety. From slurry to safety signs to finding out about animal behaviour.
