As expected the Ballybay Green Team had a good win over Derryvalley and are now in to spot with 18 points. Their next game is on Friday 1st June when they take on Clontibret – that will be a game worth seeing. Also on Friday evening we will have Ballybay White play St. Michaels, Cootehill – this could also prove to be a very interesting game.
This week will see the Ballybay selection travel to Letterkenny to play the game that was cancelled earlier in the month – a share of the points would be a good result at that venue.
The outdoor green hosted St. Pat’s indoor club on Monday last when 14 of their players turned up at 10-30am and bowled until 1pm in glorious sunshine On Saturday the 9th June the Gibson Trophy will be played for so now is the time to put your name on the timesheet in the club pavilion. Also on the notice board is the dates and times of the champion of champions competitions.
