On Monday 7th May the Ballybay Outdoor Bowling Club hosted a charity event for Kiara Mc Kenna. There was a full turn out and we raised €1200 which will go to support Kiara as she travels to Russia for treatment for MS. The winner of the fun competition on the day were Martin Lynch, Terry Clarke, Seamus Mc Eneaney and Gerry Moen. Our Chairman Samuel Gamble made the presentation and thanked all that contributed in any way to the enjoyment of the day.
The local league is now in full swing and its good to see the new clubs doing well. On Monday night Ballybay Green got all 6 points against Ardaghey while Ballybay Maroon beating Latton 4-2.
