PEARSE BROTHERS PRESENTATION NIGHT
The annual Pearse Brothers presentation night took place in the clubhouse last Saturday night and it proved to be a very successful and enjoyable night for all in attendance. On the night the championship winning team of 1957 were remembered. 3 local legends namely Paddy ward, Paddy Kerr and Martin O Kane were inducted into the Hall of Fame. Paddy Ward who was absent due to illness is now a hall of fame indcuctee of both the Ballybay and Latton clubs. We all wish Paddy a speedy recovery. In his absence his son Rory collected his award. Paul Finlay was named 2017 senior player of the year while Aaron Toner picked up the Paddy Rutledge cup for the reserve player of the year. The Texas Wildcats entertained for the evening.
