Ballybay Monaghan Ireland

The Ballybay News has been contacted by a few locals who are having difficulty in obtaining a parking space in town. One man who didn’t want to be named said, “I came to town last week and I couldn’t get a space. I know a lot of the cars belong to shop staff and I would hope that especially in the run up to Christmas they would park in the side streets or Clones Road car park”. At this time of year when locals are being encouraged to shop locally it is important that customers get parked in the middle of town. Staff from all the shops and offices should be encouraged by their employer to park off Main Street. The reality is that if they don’t the traffic warden could end up back in town!
