Bowls
The Ballybay outdoor bowling club had a very good start to the Border Counties bowling league on Tuesday last when they beat Letterkenny by a comfortable margin. Our next game in on this week when we have Drumragh at home so hopefully there will be a similar outcome with them. Drumragh is one of the Omagh teams after they joined forces with Sion Mills when they closed down.
On Wednesday 10th May we will have a cup game with Strule, the other Omagh team so another big effort is required to get us into the next round of that competition.
This Saturday the 7th May will see us at home for the playing of the Vincent Cup. This is always played at the start of the season between Ballybay and Fivemiletown. All our members are expected to be at the club pavilion at 12noon on Saturday with play to start at 12-30pm and end at 3-30pm. The meal will follow at 4pm.
