The local league is progressing very well and all teams are putting in a big effort to have the games played on the allocated evenings. Also a lot of teams are turning up for their practices. St. Michaels of Cootehill is the team in form at the moment and is the leader in points so far.
Just a reminder that the Jimmy Gibson memorial trophy is to be played on Saturday 10th June so now is the time to put your name on the time sheet in the pavilion.
At our weekly meeting on Monday evening best wishes were extended to one of our long serving members JJ Duffy who has been in hospital for the last week.
Our next Border Counties League match is on May 24th away to Enniskillen which has one of the best grass greens that we visit so we are hoping for a few points there.
