1916 Centenary Event – Date Change
Plans for a weekend of Remembrance of the events of Easter 1916 in Ballybay are at an advanced stage. The weekend of May 27th to 29th was set for a number of events including music, talks, and a play as well as a flag raising ceremony and a reading of the proclamation however due to unforeseen circumstances this weekend has now been changed to June 10th, 11th and 12th.

It is planned to have a number of events on the Main Street at 16 minutes past 7 o clock (1916 on the 24 hour clock). Clear your diaries for what will be a weekend to remember.
