The start of the local league will commence on Friday evening 29th April with Corcaghan taking on Cootehill at 7-30pm on the outdoor bowling green. This game is in section one and in section two we have Ardaghey playing Muckno. This will be Ardaghey’s first season in this competition and we hope they enjoy the experience.
The first of the Border Counties League games will take place also on the bowling green when we have Letterkenny visit us. This will be a very hard team to take points off but we will give it our best on the night. Next week we also have a home game when a Omagh team called Drumragh visit us in Ballybay.
On Saturday 9th May we will play Fivemiletown in our annual friendly for the Vincent Cup. We need all members to turn up on that day at 12 noon in order to retain the cup which we have on display in our club rooms. Any league club that wants to practice are encouraged to do so as long as the green is free – ring Benny to check at 087 4152392.
