Monaghan Women in Business (MWIB) will launch its exciting 2017 programme as part of Enterprise week on International Women’s Day – Wednesday 8th March - at 6.30pm in The Glencarn Hotel, Castleblayney.

All women in business/enterprise are invited to attend the launch and to participate in the Women in Business programme throughout the year.

We are thrilled to welcome acclaimed TED Speaker, Social Media Strategist and Tweeting Goddess - Samantha Kelly - as our very special guest speaker at our launch event. Samantha will share with us her experiences of business development through harnessing the ever increasing – and cost effective - power of social media. In addition to her many other accolades, Samantha - founder of Social Media Summit Ireland and co-founder of the Women’s Inspire Network – has recently been appointed Brand Ambassador to Unislim.

Women in Business Network is a Local Enterprise Office initiative which assists female entrepreneurs to grow and develop their businesses by providing information, advice, and promotional opportunities in a friendly, informal networking environment. We welcome businesses at all stages of development – from pre-start up to internationally focused entrepreneurs. Last year, MWIB hosted 9 events throughout the county with a total attendance of over 330 throughout the year. Meetings include presentations by expert speakers on a range of relevant subjects, as identified by participants, a very enjoyable social element and invaluable networking opportunities.

The 2017 launch is a free event, but we are asking that interested parties register Women in Business 2017 launch for catering purposes.
