PAUL TO SWIM AND CYCLE ON CHRISTMAS DAY FOR TEMPLE STREET
When most of us will be sitting down to turkey and pudding on Christmas Day local man Paul Mc Guinness will be taking part in a cycle and swim in aid of Temple Street Hospital. Paul who is a third year business student at DCU has been selected as one of 120 students who have been challenged to raise €1000 for charity. All the monies raised will go towards the construction of a new satellite classroom in St Gabriel's Ward which specialises in neurosurgery and craniofacial surgery. Speaking to the Ballybay News Paul said, “To help me reach the €1,000 I am taking part in a 20k cycle and swim on Christmas Day all while in a Santa suit. If anyone would like to make a donation they can simply go to the following link https://www.100minds.org/2017/1253/paul-mc-guinness. I really appreciate the support that I have received so far and to show this appreciation I plan to raffle a Dtwo gold card and a €50 River Island voucher between everyone who makes a donation”.
