The group had their third meeting of the year last week in Birch Court and were treated to a great presentation by Paul Flynn, taking the audience on a walk through Ballybay back in the day when it was a thriving market town. Thanks very much Paul for an impressive display of local knowledge. The group are currently working on this year's national heritage award, which takes place in August under the theme of "living traditions". Anyone who has any knowledge, photos, stories, of any local traditions, or anyone else who would like to get involved is welcome to come to the next meeting on May 17th at 8pm in Birch Court.
