On Friday 22nd May and Saturday 23rd May Ballybay Pearse Brothers are asking all players, supporters and the local community to get involved with a fundraising event for Pieta House. The club want all involved to participate in this fun event, to see how far they can walk/run in 24 hours as a club and to raise awareness for mental health. Walking/running must be done within the 5km Government/HSE-Covid19 guidelines). The club would like to encourage all club players, supporters and our club community to put on your club colours and get involved. Each person/family will be allocated a half hour slot to walk/run. The event will start at 7.30pm on Friday 22nd May running through to 7.30pm on Saturday 23rd May. Text Barry 087 2589371 or Teresa on 086 1691304 with your preferred time slot. When you have completed your walk/run please text the total distance covered (remembering that family of four walk 5km its 4 x 5km = 20km). Donations can be made via the link which is available on the Pearse Brothers facebook page. The clubs facebook page is already littered with fantastic pictures and video’s promoting the event and families are encouraged to post their pictures on the facebook page after the event.
