What a great day it was on Monday last for the Scoil Èanna Annual Fun Run which raised an amazing €3640. A massive thanks is due to the teachers and staff who have been preparing the children for the past few weeks for the big run. Local athlete Conor Duffy who is well known in Irish athletics circles launched the run and Ballybay Fire Brigades Daryl Gilmore helped lead the run.

The run set of up the Main Street getting great support from all that came out to support the children and parents on the run. The run finished off with a lap of the local park before all participants headed back up to Scoil Èanna to get their well-earned refreshments. A special mention to the Corner Shop, Ballybay who donated all the water for the children and also Drury Centra Ballybay for donating all the lovely fruit.
Big thanks goes to all the parents and friends who turned out to help. A big thank you to all the children and parents who raised over€3000. Looking forward to see you all again next year.
