BOWLS
The new surface on our outdoor bowling green did not prove rewarding when we played Fivemiletown during the week in the Mc Gurk memorial shield. Needing 13 shots to win in the second round we could only manage 8 and so its Fivemiletown that go on to meet Dungannon in the next round. This week we play Enniskillen on our home patch in the cross-border league so we hope to make amends for last week’s slip up.
The next competition on our green will be the Jimmy Gibson memorial trophy which will take place on Saturday 8th June at 10-30am. Time sheet will be posted in the club house so get your name on it in good time.
This week will see Derrynoose start their league games when they take on Ardaghey during the week and Muckno will play Ballybay maroon. A list of point standings will be published next week.
