A jobs club for unemployed people in Ballybay and surrounding areas will commence on Monday 20th May at 9-30am in Cuan Mhuire, Ballybay. The club will cover such topics as C.V. preparation, cover letter writing, job searching, interview techniques and mock interviews. BALLYBAY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCHES CD LAUNCH Members of the Presbyterian Churches of First and Second Ballybay, Rockcorry and Drumkeen have been recording a Gospel CD over recent months, and it will be launched in Second Ballybay church, Clones Road, Ballybay on Friday 10th May at 8pm. The CD is entitled “Come, Praise the Lord” and has 20 tracks including 7 solos, 2 duets, 2 trios, a quartet, the churches praise band and choir, and the Sunday School children. There are 2 instrumentals and a variety of different types of music including traditional hymns, modern praise & worship songs and country & western songs. All the artists will be taking part on the night and most will be singing/playing the songs they have recorded on the CD. The program includes a puppet show arranged by Monaghan girl Bethan Hill. Admission is free and we invite everyone to come and join us for this special occasion. A light supper will be provided in the church hall afterwards. CDs at €10 each will be available for purchase on the night.
