Councillor Seamus Coyle wants to remind everyone that if you are over 18 you have a right to vote. Speaking to the Ballybay News the Latton based Councillor said, “If you are 18 years old on the date of polling in any election or referendum, you are entitled to vote, but only if you are on the Electoral Register in the area, where you normally reside. Local and European Elections Take place on Friday 24th May 2019, so if you are aged 18 years on or before that date, you can be added to the Supplementary Register up on till 5pm on Tuesday 7th May 2019. For those wishing to get a Postal Vote, the closing date is 5pm on Monday 22nd April 2019.Your Vote is Your Right.
