Mackey Smyth from Anney will celebrate his 70th birthday on Friday 22nd March. He is combining it with a Charity Fundraiser for local charities. It’s all taking place in Lynch’s Pub, Lisnalong tomorrow night. Proceedings get underway at 9.30 and music will be provided by the great Mick McCormick. Benefitting charities include: Ballybay Cancer Society, Five for the Fight-Cancer Research, Cystic Fibrosis and Loughmourne National School’s Autism Unit. Everyone is welcome. Why not come along and enjoy the craic! No presents or cards please. Donations on the night go to these fantastic organisations who do amazing work and deserve our support.
