Community Involvement Scheme 2019
The Department of Transport, Tourism & Sport has announced funding for the repair and upgrade of local or regional public roads under The Community Involvement Scheme (CIS) 2018.
Community Involvement Schemes (CIS) are joint ventures between the community and Monaghan County Council, aimed at improving the quality of public roads which are in need of repair.
A 15% percent contribution by the public is required towards the total cost of the works.
Eligible works include surface dressing, road strengthening and ancillary works.
Completed application forms are to be submitted to the Roads Section, Monaghan County Council, M- TEK II, Armagh Road, Monaghan by Friday 4th January 2019.
